Moab of weekends past: 4th of July, Beware many pictures.

Fill or Bust in the frying pan! Sweet! I was venganced twice and almost everyone else got it once.

Cool frog we saw on the beginning of our Delicate Arch hike.

Delicate. It's a great hike. And by far the most majestic of the arches, in my opinion.

I love this photo. It's the view through delicate arch. Beautiful place.

David holding delicate up.

4th of July friends. We had a blast despite the boy's bipolar love/hate relationship with hiking, Marty's theft of striker's nuts and little bit of crankiness on my part. The weekend rocked!!!

Gummy worm's while hiking. Love it!

One of the window arches.

The top of window arch. I love this shot too. I just think it's cool to see the sky on each side of this huge slab of rock. I like the crack in this one too.

Liked this one because the arch is totally in shadow while the rest of the landscape isn't.

Tunnel Arch. This one was cool because you can't see this arch from the other side of the trail. It's interesting.

Pine tree arch.

Landscape arch.

David built this little cairn.

Be the arch, wudan, be the arch.

The food was great! We had hot dogs, hamburgers, kabobs, dutch oven scalloped potatoes and pork tenderloin and pizza. It was a fantastic time!

And it was the 4th of July!!! I didn't get great pictures of the fireworks but they were good. We had a good view from the bleachers. It was a good time.

I've decided that every 4th of July i want to go to a national park, camp, hike, enjoy time with friends and enjoy the beauty in our country. I can't think of a better way to celebrate. The contender locations for next year (provided that we are still in this area) are Zions, Yellowstone, or Yosemite. Any takers? Would love to go with any and all interested friends/family.
