Clothesline

David built me a clothesline. He used fencing stuff for the poles and then drilled some holes and used eye bolts to attach the string to. Then we cemented them in the back yard. It was all much easier than we thought it would be and I'm so excited for my clothesline.

We went on a walk yesterday and picked some wildflowers on the way home. They're pretty.

Isn't he so cute putting the string on. He even used fancy boy scout knots.

Ta Da! I love the look of that. Can you tell we like green and orange? Yay for being all domestic. Loving it.

SO awesome! I'm envious. Someday maybe Gary will build me one, or David can build me one here. Just a warning, after a few uses the rope will stretch and have to be re-tied, but after that it'll be good for a long while. Love you! And it looks GREAT!

I was literally just telling Wes I wanted a clothesline this morning!

Jealous!

Susie, David did some cool knots so we can tighten it without completely retying it.

And it's seriously so easy to make. I'm sure David could tell Gary how to do it or do it for you the next time we're there.

Rebecca, let me know when you have a yard and i'll tell you exactly how to make one!

Erik used those fancy boy scout knots, too :)

When I was learning them, I really didn't think that boy scout knots would ever come in handy. You know, "when am I ever going to use this?"

:)
