Honeymoon Part 2: Lake Michigan and Dutch Village

Ok Nothing to do with the honeymoon but it was my favorite billboard of the trip. Affordable Bankruptcy? Really? I kind of thought that wasn't possible. Oh well

David was talking to his mom because it was mother's day.

There were tons of ladybugs everywhere.

Sinking our feet in the sand.

Huge wooden shoes.

Right size wooden shoes.

There is a town in Michigan called Holland. We have a lot of dutch people in Michigan so they have this little dutch village amusement park and shops. We stopped by because David wanted to see the wooden shoes. It's a fun place to look through. Holland also has an annual tulip festival. We were there the day after it ended but the tulips were still beautiful.

Honeymoon Part 1: Moab

Our honeymoon was awesome. Right after the wedding we headed off on the first part of our honeymoon. (we decided to have a little honeymoon right after the wedding, then have receptions and then another couple fun days before we went back to life.) We spent a few days in Moab. We stayed at a bed and breakfast, went rafting and then hiked Arches. It was a great, relaxing couple of days. We got to see a lot more of Arches then we did last year and that was fun. We want to go down again and check out Canyonlands still. There's so much awesome stuff to do down there.

Wedding!!!

Well we got married. It was a great day. The weather was nice other than some wind and a stubbed toe :( The sealing was beautiful. We were so happy that our family and friends were able to make it out to be with us. Pretty much it was the best day! amazingly nothing really went wrong and it was nice to get the most stressful part over.

The honeymoon and receptions were good too and everything went smoothly there. There are many posts to come in the next week or so. Right now we're just happy to be back from the excitement. We're happy to not be traveling again for awhile. I'm so excited to get the apartment all together and uncluttered and just settle into real life. Yay for being married!!!

Bachelorette sweet party

We had a sweet girl party. We had awesome kabobs made by sukie. We went and got our nails did and then thought that it would be a great idea to get moo moos to get cozy in. *Note: they are not comfortable at all! We ate lots of junk food, did face masks, played some guitar hero with my dad doing vocals for Just Beat It, and watched Father of the Bride. Classic. It was fun! Best bachelorette party ever!!!
