Can Babies Swear?

This is not Alice but this baby is conveying her emotion very well! :)

Yes! Yes they can!

I was at Carebear and Frik's yesterday (like i always am since I'm living there for the time being) and Carebear went visiting teaching. David and I were playing with Alice. Well, Alice got tired and consequently cranky. She was just not at all happy unless she was playing with someone. So i did a bad thing by trying to bounce her to sleep.

After bouncing for a few seconds she just got angry. Now most babies when they get mad cry right? (really I'm not sure) Well Alice didn't cry she started yelling at me. I swear that she was cussing me out in baby language. Seriously, ask David or Frik. She was pissed! It was just a string of Da Da Ma Ra Bah. Yes i know that this is normal baby language but her tone made all the difference. I was definitely not her favorite person at the time.

However once Frik came downstairs, to see if i was really abusing his child, and took her and started playing with her again she was instantly happy. She even flashed me a big smile. So i won't take it personally but i would like to assert that YES babies can swear!
